On Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 1:00 – 3:00 pm (eastern time), the New England Interstate Pollution Control Council (NEIWPCC) will host a webinar entitled, “SRF Sponsorship Programs.” This webinar is part of the ongoing NEIWPCC SRF series in partnership with EPA. This webinar will discuss CWSRF Sponsorship programs that allow wastewater treatment system improvements to be financed at a reduced interest rate in exchange for the completion of a nonpoint source (NPS) project. Participants will hear from Tee Thomas of Quantified Ventures and Lee Wagner of Iowa Finance Authority, among other state partners, who will discuss how sponsorship has been implemented in Vermont and Iowa and whether it can work for you. NEIWPCC is also hosting its first in-person National State Revolving Fund Workshop, July 27–29, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Topics will range from environmental justice and emerging contaminants to climate resilience and fiscal sustainability.
