On Thursday, June 4th from 1:00 – 2:30 pm (eastern time) the Source Water Collaborative will host this webinar entitled, “Updates from NRCS and the Northeast: Partnering to Protect Drinking Water.” This webinar is part of the SWC Learning Exchange on “”SWP Through Conservation Funding.” The webinar presenters are:
• Martin Lowenfish and Dee Carlson of NRCS, who will share information about the updated bulletin on selecting priority source water protection areas in each state and accounting for the ten percent drinking water protection requirement. Read the bulletin here.
• Adam Carpenter of AWWA and Kira Jacobs of EPA Region 1, who will highlight their efforts in the Northeast to host “2018 Farm Bill and Source Water Protection” meetings with NRCS, conservation districts, state drinking water programs, and water utilities.
