Through its Green Infrastructure Program, the EPA plans to offer technical assistance to green infrastructure projects that protect water quality. The effort is part of the program’s focus on building partnerships with green infrastructure communities and it will distribute $950,000 among 10-20 projects.
Letters of interest are due April 6, 2012 and assistance will be directed to watersheds and sewersheds with water quality degradation from urban stormwater. The value of available assistance to each project will be approximately $50,000-$100,000 and will be provided through EPA contract support.
More information about this technical assistance is available at the new EPA Green Infrastructure website.
