In light of the increasing problem posed by nitrogen and phosphorus pollution, the Environmental Protection Agency announced its new Nitrogen and Phosphorus Pollution Data Access Tool (NPDAT) and a free demonstrative webinar on November 30, 2011.
NPDAT is said to assist states, stakeholders, and other partners in prioritizing watersheds for nutrient reduction. Although the webinar will highlight NPDAT, a number of other tools will also be discussed, including the new SPARROW Decision Support System (DSS).
